I’m all about sports, and being able to incorporate some serious team spirit for Sierra and Troy’s Omni Barton Creek wedding was such a blast! When Camille Ross of Elsie Event Co. referred me to Sierra and Troy, I couldn’t wait to hear about their story and ideas.
I met them up at a coffee shop along with their parents and planner, Camille, to discuss how they wanted their invitations and signage to look for their Omni Barton Creek wedding.
Meeting The Happy Couple
Sierra and Troy wanted a classic black-and-white color scheme with hints of gold. We landed on gold foil stamped coasters, programs, and napkins featuring an illustration of their pet cat, Dez. The end result was elegant and playful, making this wedding totally memorable.
The black-and-white theme extended beyond the invitations. The bridesmaids and groomsmen wore black, while Sierra wore a creamy white, silky wedding gown. Troy wore a stunning black suit and a rose boutineer to match Sierra’s bouquet.
Black, White, And Something More
Sierra and Troy’s wedding was visually stunning, and the black and white made all the little accents stand out beautifully. We used letterpress and gold foil for the invitations on 2-ply cotton stock. There was even a little hidden blind impression of a houndstooth pattern, showing off their devotion to Alabama football (if you know, you know).
I also worked with my fantastic watercolor artist, Mackenzie, to create watercolor illustrations featuring their favorite sports stadiums. Sierra and Troy wanted each table to feature its own stadium for their Omni Barton Creek wedding. They were enchanting and added a great pop of color!
An Omni Barton Creek Wedding To Remember
Even though Sierra and Troy live in Florida, it was important for them to have their wedding in Austin to be close to family and friends. Their wedding was not only beautiful, but it was also full of love. It was a sunny day, and all of Sierra and Troy’s family and friends were there to celebrate them as they pledged their love for one another.
After the ceremony, the wedding party headed inside for a delightful reception dinner followed by a live band and dancing. Soon it was time to send the happy couple on their way, and all the guests showered them with sprays of champagne as they left. Sierra and Troy’s wedding was so magical, highlighting just how much they adore one another and their loved ones.
Final Thoughts On This Classic Omni Barton Creek Wedding
I was honored to be a part of Sierra and Troy’s wedding day, and being there to celebrate them felt like I was one of the family. It was such a pleasure capturing their vision of a chic, modern Omni Barton Creek wedding while still maintaining their personality. And I’m sure I’ll think of them whenever I go to a football or baseball game!
If you’d like to work together to plan a special event, I would love to hear from you!
