This brightly-hued, joy-filled wedding is one for the books! As a diehard color-lover, I was completely smitten with Molly & Elizabeth’s wedding vision right from the start. A plethora of confetti? Check. Jewel toned, mid-century-modern wedding venue? Got it. Adorably head-over-heels couple? Most definitely! You can just feel the happy vibes overflowing at this spring wedding at Los Angeles venue The Fig House, perfectly captured by photographer Third Coast Photography.
I was truly honored to create the invitation and signage for this event, combining bright, abstract painted textures with gold foil and double thick stock for a stationery suite made in paper heaven!
More on their big day, in Molly’s own words:

Liz and I have always loved bright colors so when we found our venue, The Fig House, we knew it was the perfect place for our colorful wedding to take place! The jewel tone furniture with colorful stained glass and the deep teal walls made it the most magical setting for the bright and colorful wedding of our dreams.
Another important component of our wedding was confetti! Starting from the invitation and ending with the dance floor being covered in 15 pounds (for real!!!!) of confetti at the end of the night! Confetti was everywhere (literally, including in the AC vents) throughout the night… the bridesmaids danced down the aisle with cones of confetti while throwing it everywhere. The highlight for me was the confetti cannon blasts on the dance floor – It was MAGICAL!! Color raining down on us as we danced with our favorite people.

We asked all of our guests to wear their most colorful wedding attire which made for an even more vibrant day. Our florist (Wild Muse Floral) went bold with colorful wild flowers and we could not have been more pleased with the way the flowers turned out. We were in love with our giant bouquets and had sore forearms for days after the wedding from holding onto them all night.
Other fun parts of our wedding included a cotton candy machine (with edible glitter as a topping option), a speciality coffee cart, pizza as a 10pm snack, and a silent disco. The silent disco allowed people to really let loose and dance their hearts out.
Liz and I were so overwhelmed with the love and good energy that surrounded us all day. Our guests were hooting and hollering every chance they got (as we walked down the aisle, during our vows, during speeches, and all night on the dance floor). The feeling of joy was palpable!
Something that made our day extra special were all of our amazing vendors (including Fine Day Press!). We became friends with everyone through the planning process so on the day of the wedding it felt like we had even more friends there.

Thank you, Molly and Elizabeth, for sharing the amazing details of your special day here; I was so honored to create these invitations for you!
xo, Ashley
