Michelle and Jake are warm, funny, and endearing and they have the cutest dog, Roscoe! He was part of their South Congress Hotel wedding and was actually featured on their bar signage. Getting to design the stationery package and the signage for their chic celebration was such a joy.
Chic Details at this South Congress Hotel Wedding
Michelle and Jake selected one of our existing designs, the Color Bar invitation suite, for their South Congress Hotel wedding, choosing a lovely sage green shade that fits seamlessly into their color scheme. This modern minimalist design played perfectly with the warm mid-century-inspired interior of the South Congress Hotel, an iconic Austin location. The sage green tones complimented their elegant tropical bouquets, full of orchids and monstera.
We used the existing design of these invitations as a base and then added a really fun and luxe touch to the invitation suite, by printing the design on 2-ply, a super thick cotton stock, and then applying a custom edge paint in bright neon green.
Signage Brought It All Together
Creating wedding day signage is always a fun part of the process because each event is unique. Signage is a really important design element of your big day that sometimes gets overlooked!
For this South Congress Hotel wedding, we expanded on the invitation design to create some really playful signage and day-of stationery to match the theme and create a consistent look on the day. Having cohesive style elements from the invitation through the welcome signs and the place cards is a great way to make a wedding feel put-together and a little bit more luxurious.
